Who is responsible for destination import customs duty and VAT?
It depends on the Incoterm. Under FOB/CIF/DAP, the buyer normally handles destination import duty and VAT; under DDP, the seller arranges them where legally workable. Our current quote is FOB / CIF / DAP, so customs duties and taxes are managed per agreed Incoterms. Please have your broker confirm the local classification and rates.
