Sustainability Is a Process Problem

Reducing the impact of a printing operation is not a campaign. It is the same work we do on any production line: measure the current state, find where the loss is, change the process, then measure again.Our environmental management system has been certified to ISO 14001 since 2014, and our greenhouse gas accounting has been independently verified under ISO 14064 since 2023. Both are audited, which means the numbers are checkable rather than asserted.

Four things we actively work on:

Solvent use reduced through process change and recovery, not substitution alone
Ink, film and adhesive waste segregated and routed to licensed recycling
Energy consumption measured per line and reviewed against output
Restricted substances controlled under QC 080000 across the whole chain

Employee benefits, welfare and working conditions, with workplace safety managed under ISO 45001 and reviewed by the people doing the work.

Green Manufacturing

Energy, water, solvents and waste measured per line, with reduction targets set against independently verified ISO 14064 emissions data.

Responsible Supply Chain

Restricted substances and material declarations controlled under QC 080000, applied to our own processes and to the suppliers we buy from.

Community and Education

Support for local schooling and skills training, including the teaching tradition the company grew out of.

Designing Out Waste

Material utilisation is reviewed at the artwork stage, because the cheapest place to remove scrap is before the screen is made.

Long-Life Supply

Parts specified to remain available years after launch, so a product does not become waste because one component was discontinued.

Audit findings and verified emissions figures are shared with customers who ask for them, rather than summarised into a slogan.

Measured, Audited, Published

The certifications behind our environmental claims were not bought as a badge. Each one requires an external auditor to inspect how the factory actually operates.
